He and his wife came to our office and showed us all of the different letters that they have been getting from different types of companies that are offering to help them out of their current situation. Let me warn you right now. The vast majority of those companies are scam artists. It is just a group of people looking to profit from other people’s problems.

When i looked at their situation, in reality the have a good loan. Their interest rate was below 5%, but the problem is that they’re making substantially less than they were when they first bought the home. I looked over some of these letters and most of them offered to help with a loan modification for about $2000. This is a complete waste of time and money.
